	Finishes and interior design by Suzie Beirne of Maison Jardin, the result is a seamless blend of those east-west elements to take full advantage of both climate and lifestyle.
	Bronzed chocolate floor tiles with inlaid Zen tacos blend with aged red ironbark boards that lead with impeccable logic to an antique elmwood linen chest.
		Twin planked decks flow through wide glass doors so whatever the weather there is always a sheltered spot to relax amongst the gardens. A measure of the attention to detail that has been lavished on this home is the yellow cedar used to clad the decks. The timber is highly rated for its longevity
	The house is outstanding in its individuality with a sense of style that is evident from the moment it comes into view. As soon as you drive through the striking raked porte cochere, the fusion of east and west is apparent in the home's splendid exterior, continuing throughout the interior and into the covered loggias that flow into the gardens from almost every room.	click to enlarge

With the decor, simplicity reigns supreme, a king sized woven wicker sleigh bed teamed with a pair of unlacquered Ching dynasty campherwood chests and a rich lacquered chest which is home to a rare rampant carved timber antelope.
